My film is an awareness based documentary about financially struggling immigrants from Pakistan that cross through Iran,Turkey to enter EU. My aim was to expose the actual scenario and the life threatening risks they actually go through.While trying their best to enter EU, and I want to show them the actual image of the hazards people face while trying to cross borders illegally. I also shed light upon the many issues they face and through that discourage them from attempting these life threatening perils as there are hundreds of people who died in this process while crossing these boarders.

My own story exploring why everyone wants to leave Pakistan film follows different Pakistani illegal immigrants at Serbia/Hungary border living in jungles and trying there best to illegally enter Hungary Europe.

After the success of Shah, director Adnan Sarwar announced in 2017, that the second film in his planned Hero trilogy would be based on the life of a motorcyclist, Zenith Irfan. Zenith’s story is important because at such a young age, she is doing things that challenge gender stereotypes which are deeply engrained in the fabric of our society.

Documentary was result of a scholarship program FILM TALENTS – VOICES FROM PAKISTAN AND AFGHANISTAN under the academic supervision of a German Film Maker Till Passow.

Hassan Zaidi
The film shows the process of coloring chickens sold in the pet market. Many birds ended up dead in the process from the side effects of the dye. Those who survive have a lower than usual life expectancy. I just wanted to send out a message against the abuse suffered by these birds.
