“The Sun is Going to Set” tells the story of Guangdong born Mulin Xin as she celebrates her birthday in the city of Shanghai, set in a twenty four hour time frame. The character faces the challenges of unplanned pregnancy, unemployment and cost of rent in the megacity. We watch her day unfold waiting on a call for a job offer and receiving an unexpected visit from her brother.
