Synopsis: A Chinese female oversea student who is depressed by doubt from family and rejection in career is cruelly murdered by a serial killer who preys in the apartment’s elevator.

People seek to achieve self-worth and be able to care for their loved ones, but disappointment and exhaustion could be so frustrating that they have to do their best to not give up. An encouragement could mean a lot. However, evil could be close, and then all the striving will be tossed away indifferently.

The creation of this film is inspired by several abuse and murder cases of Chinese oversea students. This film aims to raise the concern on the wellbeing of overseas students under globalization and transnational environments.
