Xiao Li, a 16-year-old massage parlor worker, feels inferior because of her status as a “stone girl”. Xiao Li, who has been sexually harassed by male customers to gain a sense of female identity meets Yang, a 17-year-old restaurant deliveryman and the two begin an ambiguous relationship. Just when Xiao Li thinks she is about to become a “normal” girl, Yang’s attitude towards menstruation dashes Xiao Li’s hopes.
