Yichen “Richard” Yang is a film director, screenwriter and editor. Born in Beijing, raised in Vancouver, Richard graduated from NYU Tisch School of the Arts, majoring in Film and Television Production. During his time at Tisch, he has directed and worked on multiple award-winning short narrative and experimental projects. Through his work, Richard hopes to explore the ambivalence of an individual hoping to belong to a rapidly changing transglobal society.
