This story is based on a true event that happened in 2020 – a woman’s wellbeing was dismissed by the healthcare system due to misogynistic social reasons, and she was not alone. Countless women are hurt like her throughout time and space. Like the title Long Night’s Search for the Day suggests, I hope all women will seek the light that they deserve. In this ongoing battle, I want to raise awareness and action along with the rising feminist consciousness in recent China.
“Let grief convert to anger; blunt not the heart, enrage it.”
