Director Statement

My grandparents are getting older and older, and I couldn’t be with them as I am studying abroad, so I wanted to make this film to let them know that I have become something and to be proud of me, before it is too late, but it was too late. During the preproduction, my grandpa passed away. And I had to drop everything, flew back to China to attend his funeral. It changed me and the way I approach this film. The reason and purpose of this film are simple, to show my grandparents that I care about them and I know that they care about me. I wish my grandpa could see this film, and be proud.
